The Unique Features of Days of Enthusiasm Music Festival 2005


From morning to evening

  • In the eight to ten halls at the Tokyo International Forum, several concerts will be held simultaneously from morning until just before the last train departs at night. The event has the cooperation of the surrounding area (Otemachi, Marunouchi, Yurakucho, Hibiya, Ginza) in planning a varied program of associated events to bring the true joy of music to as many people as possible.

You'll never get bored

  • Each concert lasts an average of 45 minutes, so that audiences will never get bored.

Development according to an overlying theme

  • A new overall theme is decided on each year, concentrating on a famous composer or the most famous movements in musical history. The first staging of the event in Tokyo will have the theme: Beethoven and His Fellows.

A rich and varied content

  • A total of about 150 concerts and recitals are planned for the three-day event. In addition to concerts charging admission, there will also be free concerts by amateur orchestras, lectures on Beethoven and his music, and video materials to follow the footsteps of Beethoven in a rich and varied program.

Performances on the highest level of excellence

  • Famous artists from around the world who support the festivals basic concept will be gathering for the festival, and many topflight Japanese artists will also be participating.

Amazingly low ticket prices

  • We are planning an average ticket price of 1,500 yen per concert, which is about the same as a movie ticket.
    That will make it easier for the whole family to come and enjoy the music.
